Federal Bank launched digital personal loans. The scheme allows customers to get personal loans without any paper work. The bank said customers can into its website and avail personal loans in log a minute. Upon acceptance of the offer by the customer, the loan money will be credited to his account immediately. This facility neither requires the customer to visit the branch nor does he have to put his manual signature on any document. The facility can be accessed round the clock. The scheme is part of the BYOM (Be Your Own Master) digital retail loans the bank has introduced. It has already been offering car loans and loan against term deposits under BYOM. The first phase of the launch will see this product being rolled out to the existing select customers pan India and subsequently the product will be available to all our customers, said K.A. Babu, head-Digital Banking of the bank. It is being made available on mobile and ATM platforms, he added.
