YES Bank’s shareholders approved the re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as the bank’s MD and CEO for a period of 3 years. The bank said in a statement after its AGM that its shareholders supported the resolutions for re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as MD and CEO of the bank for a further period of 3 years, effective 1 September 2018, with an overwhelming majority. The re-appointment is subject to final approval by the RBI. The bank added that the AGM had also approved the appointment of Subhash Chander Kalia and Ajai Kumar as non-executive non-independent directors and Rentala Chandrashekhar and Pratima Sheorey as independent directors for 5 years.
