Vijaya Bank is thinking to either upgrading its existing Finacle 7.0.25 version to Finacle 10.2-15 version or replace it altogether as it wants to upgrade technology and utilize various new features / technological advancement of the newer version of the CBS. Since the bank’s requirements are varied and recurring in nature, it wants to have a consultant to asset it in the technology and project management. The bank wants to consultant to undertake the task in two phases – defining an IT strategy for the bank, spelling out the technology requirements and assessment of the business vision, technology vision and existing IT landscape and recommend the future IT strategy roadmap of the bank for three to five years and in phase 2 undertake RFP preparation, vendor evaluation and selection. The consultant is required to understand the bank’s functional application modules, operations, services and infrastructure from an IT standpoint.
