Vijaya Bank has launched its social media marketing initiative and has created corporate pages on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Google+. The bank said this initiative aims at connecting with and catering to the needs of the young, tech-savvy clientele and others looking for banking products and services. Kishore Sansi, MD and CEO of the bank said the social media foray also opens up an avenue for the bank to touch base with youngsters at an early age, inculcate banking habits, expose them to the financial world and also to egg them on to a less cash society.
