Union Bank of India acquires 2 JVs

Union Bank of India has acquired 49% holding in Union KBC Asset Management Company and Union KBC Trustee Company from KBC Participants Renta and its affiliates. The bank said in a regulatory filing that it has completed the acquisition on 20 September. The two entities have now become wholly-owned subsidiaries of the bank. These two were joint ventures between the bank and KBC Asset Management with 51% and 49% holding.
