Karur Vysya Bank has appointed N.S. Srinath as its non-executive chairman for a period of 3 years. Srinath has been non-executive independent director on the board of the bank. The appointment will be subject to the approval of the Reserve Bank of India and the shareholders of the bank. Srinath had earlier served as an executive director of Bank of Baroda and retired in May 2012.
