Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has partnered with Incuspaze Solutions, a co-working spaces chain, to open a first-of-its-kind co-working space designed for MSMEs and startups at Connaught Place in New Delhi. Named @Workspaze, the facility was in development stage for the last couple of months. As per the terms of the agreement, Incuspaze’s expert team would develop, maintain and operate the coworking space and SIDBI would provide the overall support for the startups. SIDBI said in a statement, the initiative would be a market-maker for this segment and the fully furnished office space is equipped with training and conference room, fast-speed internet, reception, refreshment, recreational area, house-keeping facilities etc. and is only 50 meters away from Barakhamba Metro Station. The co-working space, SIDBI added, will give MSMEs and startups the benefit of a centrally-located business and these units will be charged affordable rentals in comparison with similar coworking spaces in the vicinity.
