The Central Government has appointed Krishna Prasad Nair and Gurudeo Yadwadkar as DMDs of IDBI Bank. Prior to the appointment, they were EDs at the bank. They have already take charge. Meanwhile the government has appointed P.V. Bharathi, GM, Canara Bank, as ED of the bank. She had begun her career in December 1982 as a probationary officer in the bank and has risen to the post of GM in August 2012. She has wide exposure in the operational areas of banking and headed various functional wings and possesses in-depth knowledge of corporate credit, risk management, retail credit, recovery.In another appointment, S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao., GM and CFO, Oriental Bank of Commerce has been appointed as ED, Syndicate Bank. At Oriental Bank of Commerce, Rao was looking after alternate delivery channels, marketing and publicity. He was also a member of the core integration committee involved in technology integration of GTB operations with OBC involving core banking and delivery channels.
