State Bank of Travancore has launched mobile ATMs in Thiruvanathapuram, capital of Kerala. The bank said this will help bringing in banking facility at the doorsteps of customers. The ATM is installed in a mobile air-conditioned van equipped with uninterrupted power, CCTV and guarded security with satellite connectivity. The facility also provides an information kiosk to the public to help them know about banking products and services. The van moves from place to place in the city, delivering customers safe and swift banking, a release from the bank said. MD of the bank Jeevandas Narayan, launched the facility. The bank now has 1632 ATMs linked to State Bank Group ATM network.
