State Bank of India is proposing to construct a data center and IT office at Hinjewadi in Pune. The bank wants to undertake the project on a turnkey basis and involves planning, designing, civil architecture, constructing, commissioning, obtaining certification, managing and operating the data center for up to 10 years. The project involves constructing the data center and IT center at the bank’s plot with the data center conforming to Uptime Institute’s Tier IV standards and the IT office in conformity with the latest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) of the U.S. Green Building Council. The work will involve design, construction and operation of the data center and the IT Centre.
