State Bank of India has partnered with Tata Housing to allow the latter’s women customers to pay only 20% of the agreement value of a house while balance can be paid on taking possession of the property. The agreement marks the occasion of the International Women’s Day. On its part, State Bank of India will be offering home loans to its women customers at a special interest rate of 9.5% per annum under the SBI Her Ghar scheme as part of the International Women’s Day. The bank has also waived processing fees on the home loan under the scheme.
