State Bank of Hyderabad will be expanding in states like Tamil Nadu and plans to add 80 branches outside Andhra Pradesh next financial year. Managing Director of the bank M. Bhagavantha Raosaid of its 1600 branches, more than 1000 were located in Andhra Pradesh. With the current political situation in Andhra Pradesh, there was uncertainty and several branches in the state had to be shut down for several days this financial year impacting on business and NPA level.
