Sayantan Chakraborty to head treasury unit in US Bancorp

US Bancorp has engaged Sayantan Chakraborty to head its product management for global treasury management business. Chakraborty comes to the US Bancorp after a 15-year career at Citi, where he was most recently a managing director in its treasury and trade solutions group. He had earlier held various leadership positions at Citi, including head of the North America payments business. Chakraborty is also a former board member NACHA, and has been a longtime proponent of same-day ACH and real-time payments. US Bancorp said the job as a new role that combines responsibilities from two previous positions. It did not say who held those jobs previously.
