RBL Bank has tied up with First Data to help it migrate its credit card customers to First Data’s VisionPLUS software providing end-to-end card processing services for the bank. Ivo Distelbring, executive vice president and head of Asia Pacific at First Data, said RBL will be leveraging First Data’s next generation payment technology. He added that First Data’s focus is to help clients grow their business with best-in-class platforms, and this alliance with RBL helps deliver on that promise by enabling it to meet the dynamic customer demands of the evolving and complex Indian market. Harjeet Toor, head of Retail at RBL Bank said with this tie-up the bank is now able to introduce innovative features for its clients and to scale its transactions on a secure and scalable platform. This gives the bank the impetus to increase its competitive edge in the market, he added.
