RBI and the European Central Bank have entered into a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of central banking. RBI governor Raghuram Rajan and ECB president Mario Draghi signed the documents. The MoU provides a framework for regular exchange of information, policy dialogue and technical cooperation between the two institutions, RBI said in a press release. “Technical cooperation may take the form of joint seminars and workshops in areas of mutual interest in the field of central banking,” it added.
