The Reserve Bank has signed an agreement with Bank of Israel for exchange of information pertaining to banking supervision. Hedva Ber, supervisor of banks, Bank of Israel, and Parvathy Sundaram, CGM in charge, department of banking supervision, RBI signed the documents in this regard. . The regulator said in a statement that it has entered into a MoU, Letter for Supervisory Cooperation and Statement of Cooperation with supervisors of a few countries to promote greater cooperation and share supervisory information. With this, the RBI has signed 32 such MoUs, one Letter for Supervisory Co-operation and one Statement of Co-operation.
