The Reserve Bank of India and Bank of Botswana have signed an agreement on information sharing under the Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information. An RBI release said the MoU was signed by Andrew M. Motsomi, director of Banking Supervision, Bank of Botswana, and Parvathy V. Sundaram, CGM-in-Charge, department of Banking Supervision, RBI. RBI has entered into similar agreements with a few countries to promote greater cooperation and share supervisory information. With this, the central bank has signed 28 such MoUs, one letter for supervisory cooperation and one statement of cooperation, the release added.
