Dr Ram S. Sangapure is the new ED at Punjab National Bank. He assumed charge on 13 March. Prior to this posting, he was GM at Central Bank of India and served the bank for about a decade. He has worked in various capacities including regional manager in charge of corporate branch, zonal manager and chairman at the bank’s RRB. He is a Ph.D in economics from University of Sofia and began his career in with IDBI and had exposure to various areas of banking during his span of 5 years with the bank.
