PNC Financial Services Group has unveiled a new look, modern branch at Dayton and said it would convert hundreds of its branches this way. The new branch looks very different from the average banking space and is aptly described as the ‘branch of the future’. A bank official explained that this is really in response to how customers are telling the bank they want to do their banking. While more and more simple bank transactions are being shifted to online or via ATM, the branch focuses more heavily on consultant services.It features financial consultants instead of traditional bank tellers, ‘smart’ ATMs to get cash, make deposits and cash checks with exact change, including $1 bills.
