PNB MetLife has signed a corporate agency agreement with Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait under which the life insurance company will beable to distribute its retail and group products to the bank’s customers in India. The bank customers will be able to get access to PNB MetLife’s entire portfolio of products ranging from health, savings, and wealth to rural plans. The bank has branches at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Aluva and New Delhi. PNB Metlife has bancassurance arrangements with Punjab National Bank, Karnataka Bank and Jammu & Kashmir Bank. Mallikarjun Kota, country head and CEO of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, said the bank has been operating in India for over 30 years and is growing consistently both in terms of branch presence and business through diversified product offerings to the salaried class.
