Digital payments company Oxigen has become one of the title sponsors for the Cricket All Stars T20 series featuring legendary cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne. Oxigen feels the tournament, which will be hosted in United States, will help it in promoting its new online platform oxigen.com or oxigenusa.com meant for remittances from the US to India, among the non-resident Indian population of the country. The new website is meant for transfer of money from the US to India for students as well as other Indians settled there. Oxigen corporate affairs president Meher Sarid said they have fixed the base exchange rate at Rs 70 and said the technology that allows them to collect exchange rates across all banks and money transfer options in the US in fly time and increase it marginally. The company has planned on a lot of promotional activities around the tournament with various selfie contests, sponsoring Diwali celebrations in New Jersey, live streaming of matches and giving Indians registered with the website, the opportunity to meet the retired champions like Brian Lara, Sourav Ganguly, Ricky Ponting and others through the social events to be held around the tournament.
