Karur Vysya Bank said its board of directors has co-opted Ramesh Babu Boddu as an additional director and appointed him as Managing Director & CEO of the bank for 3 years. He will have a 3-year-term. He retired as Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India in April 2020. Boddy succeeds P.R. Seshadri, who resigned as MD and CEO of the bank in January 2020 on personal grounds.
