Andhra Bank is planning to construct an additional data center facility in order to accommodate additional servers and storage and network equipment taking into consideration requirements for the next five years. The bank already has a data center in Hyderbad where the servers used for the CBS and sorround applications are hosted. The new data center will be set up at the bank’s own premises and would be complying to TIA 942 Tier 3 standards. The bank has invited proposals from serviceproviders to undertake the work on a build, operation and facility management model.
