N. Chandrasekaran re-nominated as director, RBI

The Reserve Bank of India has re-nominated Natarajan Chandrasekaran as the non-official director on its Central Board. A release by the central bank said the central government has re-nominated Chandrasekaran as a part-time non-official director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India, for a further period of 2 years beyond 3 March 2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Chandrasekaran has been part of the Tata group since 1987 and is now the chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the group. He was appointed as the director of RBI’s Central Board in 2016.
