IT services provider Mphasis has announced a strategic partnership with Delta Power Solutions, a global leader in power management solutions to provide security solutions for ATMs. The ti-up will enable Mphasis to offer the most comprehensive single window solution for e-surveillance and integrated power efficient solutions to service the ATM businesses in India. The concerns in operating ATMs in the country include power consumption, housekeeping, cash replenishment and settlement cycles, end-to-end observation and management of the ATM functionality. The requirement of a large and multiple vendor ecosystem for monitoring and maintenance to ensure high uptime and availability are also part of the concerns. The alliance with Delta Power will help Mphasis in the area of e-surveillance of ATM sites and path breaking innovation in power optimization solutions. Delta will provide solutions for a single user interface for a 360 degree view of an ATM and ATM site. It will also help Mphasis addresses a suite of customer centric offerings for safety and security that include theft prevention, theft deterrent, real time alarms in criminal tracking, reduction in overall energy cost spend at ATM sites and proactive maintenance to ensure higher uptime. Puneet Bhirani, executive vice president and head, Mphasis Payment Managed Service, said through this partnership, the company will aim to deliver ‘all-in-one solution’ to meet the exponential growth in the ATM density meeting the underlying need of security and reducing the operational expenditure.
