Lakshmi Vilas Bank celebrated its 90th anniversary in Chennai. The celebrations were also held concurrently at Karur in Tamil Nadu where the bank had set up its operations initially. The prime focus and the key message of the bank on this occasion is ‘customer centricity’. The customers, local dignitaries, representatives of financial institutions and corporate heads attended the celebration in Chennai. Coinciding with the function, the bank also celebrated the Diwali festival along with the deprived community in its branches as part of its CSR activity. Parthasarathi Mukerjee, MD and CEO of the bank, in a message, thanked the customers of the bank for their continuous support and the employees of the bank for their efforts to establish it as a leading new age private sector bank. Dr P.J. Nayak, former CEO of Axis Bank, delivered the key note address in the form of the first Sri V.S.N. Ramalinga Chettiar Memorial oration paying tribute to the chief founder of the bank.
