R. Koteeswaran has demitted office as MD and CEO of Indian Overseas Bank upon superannuation. He took over the helm of the bank on 31 December 2014. Prior to this, he was ED, Bank of India, where he was responsible for strategic business development, control and monitoring of information technology, human resources, SME, treasury, transaction banking, financial inclusion and retail business segments. He was also director of Star Union Daiichi Insurance Company and Bank of India New Zealand. He was earlier with Bank of Baroda
