Kotak Mahindra Bank has joined hands with NASSCOM to create a new collaborative platform for startups. The platform, called Kotak Payment Co-creation Program, will have a special focus on fintech startups. The platform will build an ecosystem of collaboration and innovation for startups in the digital payments space. Selected startups will get access to mentorship as well as a chance to work with Kotak’s Innovation Lab and the opportunity for a pilot launch. Deepak Sharma, chief digital officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank said the Kotak Innovation Lab evaluates and works closely with several startups to co-create unique solutions across diverse areas in banking and finance. The Kotak Payment Co-creation Program is a focused value-driven program for digital payments, he said. To participate in the program, startups will have to undergo a rigorous evaluation process. Subsequently, shortlisted fintech companies will present their solutions to a team comprising technology and digital leaders at the bank.
