Kotak Mahindra Bank has set up 24 ATMs across the 12 stations of Mumbai’s newly launched Metro that connects the western suburb of Versova with the eastern suburb of Ghatkopar through a 11.4 km-long metro route. The bank has installed 2 ATMs at every station. With these new ATMs, the total number of the bank’s ATMs now stands at 1,116. It plans to add 134 more, to take the tally to 1,250 by the end of this financial year. The bank is also looking at increasing the number of cash depositing machines from the current seven to 15 across its various branches in the country by March end.
