Kishore Kharat has taken over as MD and CEO at Indian Bank. He was MD and CEO at IDBI Bank and the government had decided to swap the positions in IDBI Bank and Indian Bank as a result of which Kharat moved to Indian Bank and Mahesh Kumar Jain assumed the position in IDBI Bank. Kharat, who was with the Union Bank of India, became MD and CEO of IDBI Bank in August 2015.
