Jammu and Kashmi Bank has won the ‘Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices’ award at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress Awards 2015. During the last financial year, the bank contributed around Rs 14 crore under its CSR program for various projects and activities aimed at the wellbeing of weaker and vulnerable sections in the state. Chairman and CEO of the bank Mushtaq Ahmad said being a socially conscious institution, the bank’s CSR plans remian oriented towards helping the weaker sections of the society inw ays that are effective as well as enduring. Zonal head of the bank at Bangalore Sunil Gupta received the award on behalf of the bank during a gala function. The theme of the congress was ‘Building Sustainable HR Practice for Organisational Development’.
