Jana Small Finance Bank has opened its 500th branch in Bangalore. With its plan to convert its remaining asset centers into full-fledged branches, the bank will have a total of 600 branches. This is expected to happen by March 2021. At present, the bank is servicing over 4 million customers served by 15000+ employees. Ajay Kanwal, MD & CEO of the bank said even during covid times, the bank has opened new branches and all the new branches have a digitized environment and products. The 500th branch was inaugurated by Manish Sabharwal, Chairman, Team Lease Services, and Member of the Central Board of the RBI. The bank offers among other usual banking products and services, MSME loans, agriculture loans, individual loans, affordable housing loans, 2-wheeler loans, and gold loans to cater to the diverse needs of customers.
