IDBI Bank has signed a bancassurance corporate agency agreement with Tata AIG General Insurance to provide the latter’s products to the bank’s 2 crore customers through its 1850-plus branches. The bank said in a statement it has a strong presence in rural and semi-urban areas and the association will help Tata AIG deepen the penetration of its product offerings and enable more customers to access the company’s risk solutions anytime, anywhere.
