IDBI Bank has launched kiosk banking solution as part of its efforts to promote financial inclusion. The solution will offer online web enabled biometric authentication banking services, which the bank feels, will help it to reach out to rural masses to bring them into main stream banking system more efficiently. Medha Joshi, CGM, Retail Banking Group, of the bank formally launched the kiosk banking solution Chinchvali, Devli and Vani Kurar vilalges in Mangaon tehsil of Raigarh district in Maharashtra. The bank has also donated 30 solar lamps to the Chinchavali Gram Panchayat under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
