ICICI Bank will set up branches in Australia, South Africa and Mauritius soon. Managing director and CEO of the bank Chanda Kochhar said the bank has already received regulatory clearances for this and for upgrading the representative office in China. Kochhar addressed pressmen after the AGM of the bank. She said under the bank’s foreign expansion plans, it will open branches in Australia, South Africa and Mauritius for which clearance is received from the Reserve Bank of India. The bank has the largest overseas network among Indian private sector banks and it has three subsidiaries and eight representative offices abroad. In India the bank added 653 branches and 834 ATMs to take the total network to 3,753 branches and 11,315 ATMs
