Malaysia’s Hong Leong Bank foresees exponential growth in the number of new mobile banking users after six months of rolling out new features under its digital banking platform Hong Leong Connect. The bank’s COO of digital innovation and transactional banking Raja Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz said the mobile banking users jump to 60,00, after the bank started introducing new features. She said the bank will start promoting the service soon by tapping into its existing 3.5 million current and saving account holders. Hong Leong Connect provides personal digital banking services to its customers across multiple platforms and devices from online to mobile and tablet banking with prominent features include payment express (PEx), merchant payment express (PEx+) and card-less withdrawal services.
