HSBC Bank has elevated Hitendra Dave as the head of global banking and markets for India. The bank also has elevated Sunil Sanghai as vice chairman and head of investment banking. Dave will report to Stuart P Milne, group general manager & CEO, India and Gordon French, group general manager & head of global banking & markets, Asia-Pacific, the bank said in a statement. With this appointment, Dave’s responsibilities have been widened and will now include corporate banking, capital financing, and financial institutions, it said. Previously, Dave was the head of global markets for HSBC India. The bank appointed Sridhar Narayan as global markets head following the elevation of Dave.
