HDFC Life and Manipal Global Education have jointly organized a Young Managers Program (YMP), a one-of-a-kind employment initiative in the life insurance industry, leveraging technology to source, train and hire young managers. Under the program, Manipal Global will use its digital capabilities to source candidates for HDFC Life YMP and enroll candidates on its digital learning platform (EduNxt) to deliver a customized one month online training program. YMP is an intensive 3-month certification program, with a comprehensive course structure that involves online training on EduNxt technology platform. The online program is for a month followed by two months of robust on-the-job training across HDFC Life branch locations. After successfully completing the program, the candidates will be absorbed by HDFC Life. Rajendra Ghag, senior executive vice president and CHRO, HDFC Life, said the program, besides offering certification in ‘Life Insurance Selling Skills (CLISS)’, will also ensure employment for the candidates after successful completion of the program.
