HDFC Life introduces SPOK

HDFC Life launched India’s first life insurance email bot, named SPOK. The bot can automatically read, understand, categorize, prioritize and respond to customer emails that are sent to HDFC Life, within milliseconds. SPOK will enable the insurer to respond to user queries faster and more efficiently and consistently. It will also help generate deeper insight on customer needs by identifying patterns in customer interactions and facilitating the company to progressively anticipate and address all customer issues and needs. Subrat Mohanty, senior EVP at HDFC Life, said SPOK will help the company increase its operational efficiency and provide inputs to enrich the customers’ experience with the company. SPOK has been developed in collaboration with Senseforth, a startup that offers a wide range of enterprise bots built on its AI platform.
