HDFC Bank sets up panel to find successor for Aditya Puri

HDFC Bank has constituted a 6-member search committee to find a successor for Aditya Puri, who will be retiring in October 2020. The bank told the stock exchanges its board of directors has set up the search committee to identify a successor to Aditya Puri, the current managing director of the bank, whose tenure ends on 26 October 2020. The search committee comprises Shyamala Gopinath, Sanjiv Sachar, M. D. Ranganath, Sandeep Parekh, Srikanth Nadhamuni and Keki Mistry. Puri has been the bank’s MD since inception in September 1994. He is expected to act as an advisor to the search committee. The committee is expected to evaluate internal and external candidates to ensure smooth transition.
