HDFC Bank holds cybre crime training program

img_001HDFC Bank has launched a cyber crime response training program for Delhi police, to help enhance the knowledge and understanding of law enforcement authorities when it comes to tackling cyber related economic offences. The bank is conducting this program as part of its Secure Banking Initiative, which is intended o educate and create awareness on security in various banking channels – ATMs to online across key stakeholders, including law enforcement officers. For the program, the bank has created a 2-day training course the content of which has been created in partnership with Mahindra Special Services Group. More than 50 senior police officers from different regions across Delhi are expected to participate in the program, which will cover various aspects of investigating cyber crime such as how to identify and deal with skimming scams, vishing, phishing, data counterfeiting, SIM duplication and email threats among others. The program was inaugurated by V .V Choudhary, additional commissioner of police, Delhi and Jitendra Mani, additional deputy commissioner of police – North East district, Delhi along with Vishal Salvi, CISO, and Vijay Kamath, head – Risk Intelligence & Control, HDFC Bank.
