HDFC Bank is the only Indian bank to be awarded ‘Great Place to Work’ certification by Great Place to Work Institute. The certification follows an anonymous employee survey conducted by the third-party global authority on recognizing high-trust and performance culture at workplaces. Great Place To Work Institute said over 94% of the eligible employees participated in the survey and scored the bank on 5 key parameters. The Great Place To Work Institute audits a company’s human resource practices and policies and its methodology is considered the Gold Standard for defining workplaces across businesses, academia and government organizations. The Great Place to Work Institute is privy to applications from over 10,000 organisations across 60 countries every year and the participating organizations are assessed through 2 lenses – the Trust Index and the Culture Audit. On meeting the qualifying criteria on each of these indices, organizations are certified as a Great Place to Work for a period of one year.
