HDFC Bank said it is partnering with the Federation of Retail Traders Welfare Association (FRTWA) to offer cash withdrawal facility at over 50 large and prominent retail stores across major cities. The bank said in a statement customers can withdraw cash up to Rs 2,000 at these stores by swiping their debit cards using the PoS machines deployed at these stores. These stores in Mumbai include Roopam, Benzer, Amarsons, Kala Niketan, Premsons, Asiatic, Libas, Seasons, Roopmilan, Metro, Catwalk and Mochi. These stores will use cash collected from their sales for the withdrawals. FRTWA represents shop owners in Mumbai with over two lakh small, medium, and large store owners as its members.
