Customers can call the insurer’s toll-free number 180012000 if their vehicles have been damaged by flooding. The garage staff will pick up the vehicle, repair it, and return it to the customer. All of this is completely cashless.
Customers can opt for a spot settlement of claim from the insurer for all minor vehicle damage caused by rain, and have their vehicles repaired at their convenience. Instant financial relief will be provided.
If the damaged vehicle is repaired at a non-cashless workshop, EGI will make an advance payment to the customer of up to 50% of the liability. The EGI live video streaming app allows for instant vehicle inspection.
Waiver for RC getting soiled / mutilated / misplaced due to flood waters: EGI will waive off this requirement in the current situation. The verification will be done directly through the RTO prior to settling of claim.
