Pursuant to the Government of India notification dated January 25, 2022, regarding the merger of PMCBL with Unity Small Finance Bank with DICGC support, the main claim of the PMC Bank for an amount of Rs 37.91 billion (precisely ₹37,91,55,33,367.64) has been settled for 8,47,506 traceable depositors, as per the list furnished by the bank.
The DICGC announced on March 31 that the depositors of the PMC Bank may contact the transferee bank (Unity Small Finance Bank) for receipt of their claim amount.
