DFCC Bank of Sri Lanka has launched the Vardhana virtual wallet, a mobile app that enables financial inclusion for its customers. Users can simplify the way they transact and stay in control of their finances. Arjun Fernando, the bank’s chief executive, said the bank wants the majority of its customers to use this system. The app has been developed by Synapsys and the entire system is secured by SSL and purchases are done via an application that has been generated through a transaction PIN.
