Dena Bank is looking for a workflow and centralized document management system solution for automating business processes which are currently paper based to more automated workflow solutions. Intention of the bank is to compliment current CBS with imaging and workflow solutions and help it to improve customer satisfaction, enhance productivity and business. The system would cover core business processes, new account opening processes, loan/trade finance applications, movement of application along with supporting documents, etc and should be capable of scanning / storage of existing paper based documents linked to customer / branch / other offices. The broad aim of the project that the bank has in mind is to shift some of the backend processing from the branches and implement centralized processing concept, to make the image of the paper documents available in the electronic form on their receipt/ creation/filing, to avoid photocopy/courier of documents across offices and to build an image repository from the current paper based file system and integrate the same with the bank’s different applications.
