DBS Bank is planning to hire 100 technology experts in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data through its recruitment hackathon program in India. The bank said in a statement in keeping with its commitment to drive digital transformation and reimagine banking, Hack2Hire 2019 will focus on the theme of ‘intelligent banking’. Taking place for the third consecutive year, the initiative has received over 44,000 applications till date, it added. Like in previous years, the bank is recruiting developers, data scientists and system engineers. It is also hiring scrum masters, user interface and user experience designers, mobile application developers and solution architects this year. The Hack2Hire program will consist of two parts, the first starting with an online technical assessment designed by DBS’ technology team to gauge the basic skill-sets required for the job, the bank added.
