The board of directors of CSB Bank (formerly Catholic Syrian Bank) has re-appointed C.V.R. Rajendran as MD and CEO of the bank for a term of 3 years. Rajendran has been at the help of the bank since November 2016 and his tenure was to end on 8 December. He has over 40 years of experience in banking and finance sector and was previously associated with Corporation Bank, Andhra Bank and Bank of Maharashtra. He has also been chief executive of the Association of Mutual Funds in India. CSB Bank, which debuted in the stock exchanges, has recorded a 41% premium to its issue price of Rs 195 per share. The IPO was subscribed 87 times.
