Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has announced the opening of CIBC Dundas & Appleby Line Banking Centre at Burlington. The opening is the first of CIBC’s newly designed banking centres in Burlington, which offers modern features such as a digital banking area — an area where, with the assistance of the banking centre team, clients can learn how to complete many of their routine banking transactions on a tablet, computer or mobile device. The 6,500-square-foot banking centre features several modern elements, including remote deposit capture ATMs with envelope-free deposits, a drive-thru ATM, free Wi-Fi and service in six languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi. The centre will be functioning seven days a week. Bank’s district vice-president Margaret Whitwell said the new digitally equipped banking centre will allow the bank to provide a full range of advice and banking solutions, while offering clients easy, flexible and personalized options to meet their changing needs.
